Anita Meeks joined us to talk about the HOPE for Heroes and Horses 5K Walk/Run. We discussed the HOPE Project and what they do, the upcoming event, and more. The Walk/Run will be Saturday July, 22nd with registration starting at 7:00 AM and the event starting at 8:00 AM. The HOPE Project helps rescue horses and uses those same horses that they rescue to provide equine therapy for veterans and first-responders.
