Clara Avenue Closure Extended

Clara Avenue Closure Extended Through December 5 in Bay County

CHIPLEY, FL –Clara Avenue will remain closed at the U.S. 98 intersection until Thursday, Dec. 5. Crews will be installing a drainage pipe beneath the roadway.

The closure is not impacting the U.S. 98 travel lanes, or the portion of Clara Avenue located north of the U.S. 98 intersection. Drivers requiring access to Clara Avenue should continue detouring using Alf Coleman Road and Middle Beach Road.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
