New Principal for AMIkids Maritime Academy

AMIkids Appoints Carolyn McBean as Principal of AMIkids Maritime Academy 

Panama City, FL – AMIkids Maritime Academy proudly announces Carolyn McBean as its new Principal, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to advancing educational excellence within the Panama City community. Mrs. McBean joins AMIkids Maritime Academy with over 12 years of experience in educational administration, curriculum development, and fostering student-centered learning environments. 

Situated on the scenic waterfront of Panama City, AMIkids Maritime Academy is a nonprofit public charter high school committed to empowering young people through transformative education. Tailored for grades 9-11 in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, the academy offers an innovative educational experience. It emphasizes STEM-based curricula and a holistic approach to learning, preparing students for diverse careers. Through hands-on programs integrating marine-based environmental projects and unique experiential learning opportunities, the academy equips students with practical skills and knowledge.
