The Mix

Henry Lawrence and Larry Hawks joined The Mix to talk about the upcoming Earth Day Festival. The event will be on Saturday, April 23rd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Oaks by the Bay Park in Historic St. Andrews. Henry told us about how the Earth Day Festival began in the state and its beginnings right here in Bay County.

There will be booths from community organizations set up including the Friends of St. Andrews State Park, Bay County Audobon Society, Tupelo Beekeepers Association, and much more! A full list of vendors can be found on their website below. Along with vendors, Larry says that there will be entertainment that will be going on throughout the day. The lineup includes Paul Macauliffe, Ashley Feller, The Parvanas Dance Troupe, Bonita Underground, and the Ukelele Orchestra of St. Andrews. More information can be found on their website.

Another exciting event would be the free trees that will be given away. Larry says that they will be handing out over one hundred Red Maples at the festival! If you are interested in this event, you can find more information on their Facebook page, as well as their website.
