PANAMA CITY, FL – We are excited to announce the official launch of our new mass notification system, CivicReady. This innovative tool is designed to improve how we communicate with the public and our employees. CivicReady allows us to send timely and important updates on various issues, including city news, project updates, road closures, events and happenings, garbage collection changes, and public meeting notices. Message delivery methods include text messages, email and/or the myAlerts mobile app. The alerts are free; however, standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.

To sign up for the general alert categories mentioned above, citizens can text PanamaCity to 38276. To make more specific selections, such as neighborhood groups, and choose your message delivery preference, citizens should click on the “Notify Me” button on the homepage.
