CPAR to give $7,500 to City of Panama City for Millville Waterfront
Park
Panama City, FL– The Central Panhandle Association of Realtors® (CPAR) is proud to announce its partnership with the City of Panama City, supported by a $7,500 placemaking grant awarded by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR).
This grant will fund the installation of six new pergola porch swings at Millville Waterfront Park, creating a scenic and comfortable space for residents and visitors to sit and enjoy the beauty of St. Andrews Bay.
A check presentation will be held at Millville Waterfront Park on
Tuesday, November 26th, at 9 a.m., highlighting CPAR’s commitment to revitalizing the Millville area.
The new pergola swings, strategically placed to offer views of the bay, will provide a serene space for visitors to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. CPAR is proud to contribute to this effort as part of the city’s continued work to revitalize and enhance the Millville community.
“We are excited to partner with our wonderful city to enhance the Millville area and bring renewed attention to this beloved community,” said CPAR President Athrine Matthews. “Some of the city’s parks have been overlooked in the past, and we’re committed to helping change that. With this park situated so close to the new Snug Harbor boat ramp, it’s ideally located to welcome visitors and provide a relaxing place to gather. This project allows us to give back to the community in a meaningful way, and we look forward to seeing how these additions enhance the experience for everyone who visits. We are proud of this partnership and look forward to building on it for years to come”
Through this ongoing partnership with the City of Panama City, CPAR demonstrates its dedication to strengthening communities and enhancing public spaces. This initiative is part of CPAR’s broader commitment to community involvement and creating spaces that bring people together.
