Lane Closure Notice

U.S. 98 (15th Street) at Beck Avenue Lane Closure

CHIPLEY,  FL– The U.S. 98 (15th Street) right turn lane onto the Beck Avenue outside merge lane will be closed through Friday, Jan. 17. The lane closure is necessary to reconstruct the 15th street right turn lane and the outside merge lane onto Beck Avenue. Drivers will still be able to access Beck Avenue at the signalized intersection. Advanced warning signs and traffic control devices will assist in directing motorists through the work area.

All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to pay attention to the posted speed limit of 45 mph when traveling through the construction area and watch for construction equipment entering and exiting the roadway. Speeding fines are doubled when workers are present.
