Evacuation Orders Issued for Gulf County Amidst Approaching Storm

GULF COUNTY, FL – In response to the approaching storm, the Gulf County Board of Commissioners has announced mandatory evacuation orders for several areas of the county. Residents in the following locations are required to evacuate:

  • Areas between Garrison Avenue and St. Joe Bay
  • Areas between North Garrison Avenue and St. Joe Bay
  • Highland View
  • All phases of the Windmark community
  • St. Joe Beach
  • Beacon Hill to the Bay County line

The evacuation deadline is set for 8:00 AM on Thursday, and residents are urged to leave before the deadline for their safety.

Re-entry procedures will be implemented for those returning after the storm. Evacuees will need to present a Florida photo ID with a Gulf County address or proof of property ownership in Gulf County. Long-term renters must show a valid rental or lease agreement to gain re-entry.

Officials have emphasized that all previously issued evacuation orders remain in effect, and residents are encouraged to stay informed and act promptly.
