Gulf County providing Sand and Bags to Residents

WKGC Storm Center – Gulf County Government is providing sand & bags at two locations to its residents. The two locations are as follows:

1) 725 Knowles Avenue (outside the public works gate)

2) Indian Pass boat ramp.

Both locations are self serve, you must fill your own bags and bring your own shovel. 

Government Officials ask that residents don’t show up and take the empty bags – several people have taken large quantities of sand bags and are not filling them on site.

This is not the intended purpose, at this rate they will run out of bags, and this resource will not be available to the general public in Gulf County.
