Flags Lowered for Patriot Day

In honor of Patriot Day, marking 23 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, flags across the State of Florida will be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

This solemn remembrance is to honor the 2,977 lives lost, including the brave first responders, local law enforcement, and military personnel who displayed extraordinary courage in response to the terror attacks.

As we reflect on this day of tragedy, we stand united as a nation, paying tribute to the fallen and their families. The flags will be lowered from sunrise to sunset at all state and local government buildings across Florida.
