FSU PC INVITES PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS TO DISCOVERY DAY BY THE BAY

Enjoy campus tours, hands-on program demonstrations, mastodon exhibit

PANAMA CITY, FL — Florida State University Panama City is inviting prospective students and their families to visit for Discovery Day by the Bay from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 27. The event is an opportunity for students, families and other guests to learn more about the FSU PC experience.

Faculty, staff and student volunteers will be on hand to assist visitors in learning about academic programs and discovering the campus’s unique student engagement opportunities. Visitors will experience “hands-on” demonstrations by programs, learn about the Digital Design Studio and esports, and have an opportunity to tour Seminole Landing, the on-campus residential hall. A free lunch will be provided to all who pre-register.

In addition, FSU PC will be hosting “Priscilla from Aucilla,” a traveling mastodon exhibit from the Aucilla Research Institute on Sept. 27-28, making this a unique Discovery Day experience.

Guests may park anywhere on campus at no cost. Check-in is at the Holly Academic Center, 4750 Collegiate Drive in Panama City.
