U.S. 90 Bridge Update

U.S. 90 Bridge Replacement Project Hybrid Public Meeting

Chipley, FL – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a hybrid public meeting concerning the bridge replacement project on U.S. 90 over Chipola River in Jackson County on Tuesday, July 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (CDT).

Citizens are encouraged to attend the virtual meeting at www.nwflroads.com/calendar. Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend the meeting in-person at the Historic First National Bank, 2873-2877 Caledonia Street, Marianna. Pre-registration is required for the virtual format and encouraged for in-person attendees. The same materials will be presented for each format.

The intent of this project is to replace the existing bridge on U.S. 90 over Chipola River. During construction, a temporary bridge and roadway will be built on the north side to allow construction of the new bridge to occur on the current location. Additional right of way is required. Bids for construction are scheduled to occur mid-2026.

Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.

This meeting is being held without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
