Temporary Road Closures This Week For Roundabout Median Construction

Panama City Beach, FL– Starting Tuesday, April 23, there will be temporary lane closures with detours in the area just north of the South Arnold Road roundabout as part of the Front Beach Road Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Segment 3. This will allow the contractor to complete necessary median construction. Please observe the detour maps closely and use caution in this area.

Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., northbound South Arnold Road traffic from the northbound roundabout lane to the south of San Vincente Street will be detoured through Carmen Street and Innocente Avenue.

Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., southbound South Arnold Road traffic looking to navigate the roundabout to head eastbound on Front Beach Road will be detoured just south of San Vincente Street and north of the roundabout through Innocente Avenue. Any traffic that does not detour on Innocente Avenue will be directed westbound on Front Beach Road via the South Arnold Road to westbound Front Beach Road slip lane at the roundabout.

Message boards, signage, and flaggers will be present to assist drivers in navigating these detours. Pedestrian access will remain at all times via open sidewalks and crosswalks.
