One Generation Away’s Food Distribution in Port St. Joe
Port St. Joe, Fla. — One Generation Away will partner with Gulf County United CDC and Second Harvest of Big Bend to hold a food distribution for individuals and families in need on Saturday, January 27.
This is a free, no-questions-asked event. Anyone in need of food for the week can come and receive fresh and packaged goods with no registration necessary.
One Generation Away has been operating a mobile food pantry in Panama City since Hurricane Irma ravaged the city in 2017. They continue to stretch their reach to other areas of Florida and partner with communities to serve our neighbors.
This drive-thru distribution event will take place from 9-10:30 a.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church located at 208 North Park Avenue, Port St. Joe. Those coming to receive are encouraged to come early, as it will be first come, first served.
Volunteers needed! These events are great volunteer opportunities for the whole family. Volunteers will help sort food and load groceries into cars. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:00a EST to begin serving.
One Generation Away holds one food distribution in Panama City every even-numbered month throughout the year. More Florida locations are planned for 2024. For more information about upcoming distributions, visit www.OneGenAway.com/mobile-pantry.
