This is a message from Gulf County Emergency Management  

A hard freeze warning is in effect tonight through 9 AM Wednesday.  Expected wind chills could potentially lower temperatures into the upper teens, to the low-mid 20’s. We recommend that you prepare for power outages and be sure to check on the elderly and any other vulnerable people.  Keep pets indoors, otherwise, ensure they are warm and food and water do not freeze.  Insulate any exposed water pipes and water faucets.  Be sure to cover any plants that are not resistant to freezing temperatures. These conditions are forecast to extend into the weekend.
