Cops ‘N Kids Event is Almost Here

Panama City Beach, FL-The 28th Annual Cops ‘N Kids event is slated for Saturday, November 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Aaron Bessant Park.

The event is sponsored by the Panama City Beach Police Department and is a great community outreach opportunity, allowing residents and visitors to meet local police officers and get an up-close look at various first responder and military equipment, including specialized vehicles, helicopters, boats, a roll-over simulator, and more.

There will be free food, T-shirts (while supplies last), and other giveaways, and 10 bicycles will be raffled off. The Breakfast Point Jazz Band will be performing from 12:10 to 1 p.m., and McGruff the Crime Dog will be on hand. The Child ID program will also be on site, and there is a photo booth. The Police Department and Tyndall Air Force Base K9s will give demonstrations on the main stage from 11 a.m. to noon. Come on out and enjoy the fun!
