Panama City Beach Veterans Day 2023
Panama City Beach, FL– The City of Panama City Beach, in conjunction with the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10555 and the American Legion Emerald Beach Post 402, is hosting a Veterans Day Ceremony & Parade on Saturday, November 11 at Pier Park.
The golf cart parade begins at 3 p.m. on the east side of J.C. Penney on Stingray Drive, and will proceed down L.C. Hilton Jr. Drive, around the center roundabout and south on Pier Park Drive, turning west toward West Park Drive and ending at the Veterans Memorial adjacent to Aaron Bessant Park. Store patrons are encouraged to stand along the route and salute our veterans as they go by. Flags will be handed out along the route.
The ceremony begins immediately following the parade, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Commander Michael Mosi, commanding officer for Naval Support Activity, Panama City, is the guest speaker.
The marching bands of Arnold High School and Breakfast Point Academy, and the cheerleaders from both schools, will participate in the event, along with the Arnold High School Color Guard, local musician Neal James and Panama City Pipes & Drums.
