Gayle’s Trails Opens New Segment
A new segment of Gayle’s Trails will officially open on Wednesday, November 8th at 9am. This ribbon cutting ceremony will be held behind Arnold High School, where we will celebrate the official opening of the eastern segment of Gayle’s Trails. The 1.45-mile segment connects the Breakfast Point subdivision to just east of Clara Avenue, running alongside Arnold High School. The project took 7 months and cost $2.8 million, with the city receiving a $2.6 million grant for this multi-use trail. The trail is 12 feet wide and the wooden boardwalk is 10 feet wide.
