Panama City to Kick Off Parking Lot Paving
The City of Panama City will celebrate the kickoff of its St. Andrews Parking Lot Pavement project with a Groundbreaking Ceremony on October 30, 2023 at 1 p.m.
The project includes the pavement of three city-owned parking lots: Oaks by the Bay Park, W. 10th Street, and Bayview Avenue. Paving the gravel and dirt parking lots will improve accessibility, maximize parking spaces, and manage stormwater runoff.
Mainline Construction will pave one parking lot at a time to lessen the impacts to parking and traffic during construction. The project was designed in-house by the City’s Engineering Team and represents an investment in Historic St. Andrews by the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) as well as the Quality of Life and Public Works Departments.
The ceremony will be held at Oaks by the Bay Park, located at 2715 W. 10th Street.
