Is your medicine cabinet overflowing with leftover pills and expired prescriptions? Now is the perfect time to safely and easily get rid of those old medications.

Simply stop by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office lobby on Highway 77 in Lynn Haven anytime Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm to drop off any unused dry medicines. No liquids or needles allowed.

“It’s a very quick and easy process that keeps medicines from polluting our water or being misused,” said public information officer Ruth Corley.

So take a few minutes this week to rummage through your medicine cabinet and clean it out. Dropping off the leftovers at the sheriff’s office during their open lobby hours helps protect the community and environment.
