Groundbreaking Ceremony to be held for Gulf Coast

State College STEM Center

 

Panama City, FL – Gulf Coast State College will hold a special groundbreaking celebration for its new STEM Center on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 11:45 a.m. CST on the Panama City campus. College officials, trustees, and other guests will ceremonially break ground in honor of the new building.

The three-story STEM Center will replace the College’s 60-year-old Natural Sciences classrooms and labs. It is designed to expand and grow learning opportunities for our students. It will house state-of-the-art equipment and lab spaces to provide students with real-world experiences that will prepare them for future careers. Also, it will provide innovative and collaborative workspaces for students. The STEM Center is expected to open in 2024.
