Jennifer Vigil from Destination Panama City joined The Mix to talk about upcoming events going on in Panama City throughout the month of March and into May!
St. Patricks Day Celebrations
A few that are right around the corner would be the St. Patricks Day celebrations at the House of Henry on March 14th – 17th. There will be a 4-day event going on at the House of Henry in downtown Harrison Avenue. The lineup of days include:
- Monday, March 14th – 5 Course Irish Dinner and Spirits Paring (Ticketed event, limited to 80 guests)
- Tuesday, March 15th – St. Patrick’s Day Trivia and Comedy Night
- Wednesday, March 16th – St. Paddy’s Kickoff Bash with Kill the Keg at Midnight
- Thursday, March 17th – St. Patrick’s Day Festival Starting at 8 AM at House of Henry
FLUXE Arts Festival
Another event that is coming up would be the FLUXE Arts Festival in the Downtown Arts District in Panama City. The event will run on Friday, March 18h and then on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 10 am – 5 pm. This will be the second annual Florida FLUXE Arts Festival. You can find music, street chalk installations, artisanal vendors, local food, and much more.
Blessing of the Fleet and Free Your Feet
In anticipation of the warmer weather approaching, you can also mark your calendars for the Blessing of the Fleet and Free Your Feet event happening on May 14th. This is the day where locals say farewell to the chilly weather and burn socks to symbolize the start of the warmer seasons and the blessing of safe travels for all the maritime vessels in St. Andrews Bay.
The event also benefits Second Chance of Northwest Florida which helps take care of people and families who have had traumatic brain injuries.
