Jason Hedden Joins The Mix to Talk About Upcoming events at VPA

The Mix

Jason Hedden, The Division Chair of Visual and Performing Arts joined The Mix to talk about upcoming auditions for the fall production of Dracula: The Case of the Silver Scream: A Film Noir Mystery by David Grapes & Robert Neblett.

The auditions will run on August 30th & 31st at 6 pm in the Amelia Center Theatre Lab on the Panama City campus. These auditions are open to current GCSC students, alumni, and community actors ages 16 and over.  Actors should prepare a 1-2 minute dramatic monologue.

The performances will begin in the Amelia Center Theatre on the Panama City campus on October 29th thru the 31st & from November 5th thru the 7th. It will be directed by Assistant Professor of Theatre, Vincent Pelligrino.

Fall Production

The upcoming production of Dracula: The Case of the Silver Scream features an exciting and sexy new film noir treatment! It is Hollywood 1948. A bloodthirsty killer is stalking the beautiful starlets of “Tinseltown.” Fearing her life is in danger, Lucy Murray goes to the one man she knows can crack the case. Abe Van Helsing – A hard-boiled private eye with his own mysterious connection to the killer.
