Sacred Heart and St. Vincent’s are both part of Ascension, the nation’s largest nonprofit health system.
The Ascension Florida Mobile Health Clinic will offer services from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec 2. Services will include:

- On-site lab testing including urinalysis, hemoglobin A1C and total cholesterol (as ordered by provider)
The clinic also will provide a limited amount of flu vaccine and the Tdap vaccine that protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough.
The health clinic is part of Ascension’s efforts to assist residents of Bay County and Gulf County which were devastated by Hurricane Michael on Oct. 10. After the hurricane caused major damage to Bay Medical in Panama City, patients were evacuated by air and ground ambulance from Bay Medical to Ascension’s hospitals in Miramar Beach, Pensacola and Jacksonville. “Our caregivers and physicians are continuing to reach out to the communities whose health services have been disrupted by the hurricane,” said Tom VanOsdol, CEO of Ascension Florida. “It’s a privilege to be able to provide clinical resources to assist families and individuals as Bay County begins its recovery process.”
In Florida, Ascension operates St. Vincent’s HealthCare based in Jacksonville and Sacred Heart Health based in Pensacola. Together, they operate seven hospitals and more than 100 sites of care, and they employ more than 10,000 associates.
